I don’t know many things in my life, because i haven’t gone through anything drastic or terrible. I’ve never seen a relative die, or had to suffer through my parents being divorced. But i have done some amazing things in my life. Yes, i have gotten hurt many times, but everyone gets hurt. So that wouldn’t be much of a story.
When i was younger my parents used to always tell me stories about their lives. One thing they used to tell me constantly, was how they met. I used to love that story. It was filled with happiness and fun. So that is the story i am going to tell you now.
Georgia. Good old humid Georgia. That’s where the boy lived. He had a large house in a very large neighborhood with a bunch of kids. Since he lived in Georgia, there was a forest in his backyard. Literally. Him and his friends used to always go there and have adventures. But the boy also did many sports. He loved Football, Wrestling, Water Polo, and Baseball. He was a very active kid. (A lot like me). Hawaii. Beautiful Hawaii. That’s where the girl lived. She had a large house as well with a jungle surrounding her. The girl used to love to go down to the water and surf with her best friend. Laylani , i believe. She didn’t do many sports except for surfing and cross country.
After the boy completed four years of college with a major in English, he decided that he was going to go to move down in California for a new life. He drove. I don’t know for how long but i know it was for a long time. He knew a few people in California, who he was going to stay with. But he didn’t know many people.
The girl had finished her four of college with a major in Therapy. Her family had moved to Sacramento a few years before, so she was attending some college in Sacramento. She came down to LA when she was done with college because “that’s where all the action was”. The girl was one of those girls who really liked to be doing something at every single minute of her life. She got a job as a waitress in a very famous restaurant in Universal City Walk.
When the boy got to California, he went straight LA to see his friends. But of course he knew that he needed a job because he can’t live with his friends forever. He got a job at a very famous restaurant on Universal City Walk as a chef. He had worked in kitchens before and thought he might give it a try. He did very well.
One day when the girl was working she saw the boy behind the counter getting a few napkins. She was serving a group of customers drinks at the time, so she set the tray down and walked over to him. The girl was always a talker. She had a lot of guts. (Just like me). When she got over there she realized that the napkins container was stuck. So she went and helped him. Not sure how they fell in love but it just happened.
The boy had been working in the kitchen all day and he was getting extremely tired. Then, if things couldn’t get any worse, a pot a sauce spilled all over the ground. Of course the boy was furious. People tried to offer help but he said that he could take care of it and to get back to work, and walked out of the kitchen. He walked out to get a buttload of napkins. Of course he was expecting the napkins to just come out of the holder like napkins are supposed to, but they didn’t. They just stayed there. He glanced around, embarrassed, and then he saw a the girl walking toward him, her face bright red. “Let me help you,” The girl said sweetly to him. And he let her. Although he was in a very bad mood, the girl seemed to turn his frown upside down. I don’t know how he fell for her right then, but it just happened. Fastforwarding to many years later.
The girl and the boy started living together in a beautiful little town called Ventura. It wasn’t very popular at the time. No one really knew it existed. But it was like paradise. The waves were good, the air was fresh, and there were smiles everywhere. One day the girl and the boy were walking along the beach, after eating at a fish restaurant on the Ventura Pier. There was a playground next to the pier which they had decided to mess around in for quite sometime, until the boy gave the girl a ring. A bubblegum ring, in fact. It was blue and was very fake. Then they had let the playground and the boy gave the girl another ring. But this time it looked different. It was golden with a beautiful diamond on the front of it. Yes. The boy had asked the girl to marry him. The girl said yes, of course. And they lived happily ever after… The End… Until they had me… The End… And then my brothers… The End...
